Just one of our difficult builds through 2020 in Cookridge, Leeds.
A dated and terraced plot, over 20m in length and climbing 5m in height, underwent extensive remodelling.
The build was created over 3 phases and several weeks in conjunction with a large extension on the property.
Clearing, leveling, and retaining the ground opened up the garden allowing for 3 exciting and more useable spaces.
At the top of the garden we created a composite infinity deck overlooking the plot.
Rockery shelving, spacious planting beds and a modern flight of steps set the tone to the upper level.
Large funky retaining walls with a combination of tanalised cladding and k rend created an unusual stairwell and planters to a softer mid terrace. A grassy planting scheme and patio for a follow up summer house retreat along with a bold colour scheme gave the design a youth full finish.
The initial obstacle of the huge level changes became the ‘wow’ factor of the garden. A variety of plants, water feature and the stone stair well to make more of the bank.
A lower patio out from the kitchen created a Stone courtyard on the bottom level. A huge thanks to Alex and Helen for going with such a bold and fresh look.
