Project Description
A hillside Yorkshire garden deep in the Pennines. With attention to detail and a nod to the past, stone courtyards, reclaimed stone paths, riven paving, and a local mix of walling styles helped the job ooze permanence and spirit. A grass based planting scheme to flow with the hills, along with a few quirky additions made this a novel job. With a herculean effort from all those involved we have now completed major earth works, structure planting, meadow seeding and turfing to the front aspect on the site. Field boundaries, hedgerows, track building and veggie plots really give the house the setting and garden it has deserved for decades. With several spaces now ticked of the Masterplan, the landscape created has a real identity and sense of locality. Hugely proud of this job, made possible with yet another perfect client with real ambition. Lots more to follow through 2017 and 2018.
